We Set the Dark on Fire – 4 stars

This wasn’t a perfect book. There were a couple of odd editing hiccups (and I’m not usually one to notice small issues because I get too involved in the book) and the plotting wasn’t always super tight. Having said that, this book had a lot of heart, and even with the issues I noticed I was pretty much immersed the whole time. Dani was a great MC, really smart and capable, and someone who could really stand up for herself. There are some fantastic and much needed themes about privilege and intolerance in the book… they are on occasion very direct and spelled out as opposed to deftly weaved through the story, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. At the end of the day though, I couldn’t put this one down and I dived straight into the sequel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me

Question – As you can see I read this on Kindle which I sometimes do before buying a print copy if I’m not sure whether I’ll like it. Do you guys prefer e-reader or physical copy? Or both?
